Currently Docsly converts text-based PDFs with embedded text layers. Scanned PDFs that consist of page images require Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which is on our development roadmap for a future release.
Is there a page limit for PDF to Word conversion?
There is no page limit — you can convert PDFs of any length. The only constraint is the 50 MB file size limit per upload. Multi-hundred-page documents convert just fine.
Will my converted Word file contain editable tables?
Yes. Docsly detects tabular structures in your PDF and reconstructs them as native Word tables with editable cells. Column widths, headers, and cell borders are preserved to match the original layout as closely as possible.
